"Try My Hardest- A Timeline Testimony of Pain, Perseverance, and Purpose" is a raw and deeply vulnerable memoir about a mother’s journey through love, loss, and the unbreakable bond with her daughter, Makayla, a fierce heart warrior who defied the odds from her first breath. Through medical battles, faith struggles, and unimaginable heartbreak, this story reveals the strength born in life’s hardest moments and the legacy of a little girl, a Mighty Heart Warrior whose words, “Try My Hardest,” became a lifelong promise of hope, resilience, and love that never stops fighting.
A portion of proceeds from books sold will go directly towards The Mighty Heart Warrior Project to help fund our Mission in Makayla's honor.

The Mighty Heart Warrior Project's Mission is to provide comprehensive, hands-on CPR certification, recertification and defibrillators to families who have children at an elevated risk for a major cardiac event.

- CPR & Defibrillator (AED) Training and Certification by seasoned, licensed instructors, for families and caregivers.
- Provides assistance with copays for families with insurance coverage
- Helps to provide AEDs for uninsured

Our impact will start at home, here in Tulsa and will continue to expand statewide, regionally and then, eventually, nationally.
We want to arm as many families as possible, coast to coast, with these lifesaving tools.
